Co-Treatment and Group Programs
Language 'n Motion: A 10-week program jointly taught by both an OT and SLP. Each session is 90 minutes in length with 10 minutes designed for open consultation with parents to design and help implement home carry-over program. Although this is a 10-week program, many families participate in an on-going fashion.
Play & Say: A 10-week program jointly taught by both an OT and SLP.Each session is 90 minutes in length with 10 minutes designed for open consultation with parents. Although this is a 10-week program, many families participate in an on-going fashion.
Speech/Language and Occupational Therapy Co-Treat: An on-going 2:1 program designed to meet the highly individualized therapy needs of the child. Each session is 60 minutes in length including a 10 minute consultation with parents.
Girl Talk: A 9 month program run by an SLP for girls ages 10-12. This group meets twice a month for 1.5 hours per session with the last 10 minutes designed for open consultation with parents.
Guy's Hang Out: A 9 month program taught by an SLP for guys grades 6-10. The group meets once a month for 2.5 hours and once a month for 1.5 hours with the last 10 minutes designed for open consultation with parents. It is requested that students commit to the entire program.
Speech and Language
Individual Therapy:
- 60 minute session including a 10 minute consult with parents
- 30 minute minute session (no consult time)
Dyad (2 participants):
- 60 minute session including a 10 minute consult with parents
Small Group Therapy (3-4 participants):
- 60 minute session including a 10 minute consult with parents
Occupational Therapy
Individual Therapy:
- 60 minute session plus a 10 minute consult with parents
Dyad (2 participants):
- 60 minute session including a 10 minute consult with parents
Small group therapy (3-4 participants):
- 60 minute session including a 10 minute consult with parents
Assessments, Consultation and Reports
Full Diagnostic Speech and Language Assessment: A 3 to 4 Hour Personal Evaluation which includes the use of Standardized Assessments, observation and/or review of other professional reports and findings, and a complete Written Report Including: Diagnosis, Recommendations & Strategies, and Goals & Objectives.
Speech Only Evaluation: One hour Session that includes the use of Standardized Assessments, Speech Samples, and a Written Report Including a Diagnosis, Recommendations & Strategies, and Goals & Objectives.
Consultation: Consultation with parents, families, professionals, other team members as well as attendance at IEP or SST meetings in order to provide participants with strategies, material suggestions and implementations, as well as recommendations and suggestions.
Progress Reports (Available upon request): Includes Current Levels of Functioning, Diagnosis, Recommendations, and Goals & Objectives. Most reports take between1-2 hours to write.
